Villa Mateo is privately owned and maintained. The villa is set in its own walled grounds with garden and private pool. Situated in a quiet location it is a 10-15 minute walk to the local supermarkets and to the main beach and resort area of Playa Blanca. See google map for exact location.
The Playa Blanca area has, arguably, the best beaches on Lanzarote. The coast line is laid out with walkways and cycle paths and the nearby harbour offers regular crossings to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura.

Villa Interior description
The villa-bungalow, is presented to the highest standard and can cater for up to 4 people comfortably. The lounge looks out onto the pool and has TV, DVD player with a minimum of 20 recent films, CD/radio/cassette, books and games. Patio doors open out onto the external dining area. The modern kitchen is fully equipped including electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron and ironing board etc. There is a full and spacious bathroom, double bedroom and a second twin bedroom, with ample fitted wardrobes,
The interior is designed with modern, stylish, comfortable furniture, restful colour schemes and quality lighting which is both functional and relaxing. All important ingredients to allow you to totally switch off.
Villa Exterior description
The tiled terrace offers external dining and comfortable sunbathing. The private heated six by three metre pool divides the terrace from the garden. There are comfortable sun loungers with cushions, outdoor dining area under a Spanish wooden pergola and a traditional barbecue for poolside cooking.
Villa Services
Maid service is once per week for a full linen change. An additional towel change is provided mid week. A set of Poolside towels is also included for the duration of your stay, which gives you more space in your suitcase.
The pool is cleaned twice weekly
A complimentary welcome pack is provided of tea/coffee, mineral water and a bottle of wine.
Cot hire with bedding and high chair can be arranged on request.

Note: We do not cater for stag parties or similar.
Villa Safety first
A poolside life-saving ring and pole are provided, but we also recommend that children should be supervised at all times when using the pool.
Fire protection and smoke detection devices are provided. All furniture complies with up-to-date safety standards.
Smoking is not permitted inside the villa building for your own safety.
There is a built-in safe for you to store your valuables for extra security.
